Hey, my name is Logey (real name is Logan) and I am 15 years old. I am very new to this game, having only downloaded it on Saturday and so far I am finding this game very fun, especially this server.
I have played CS:GO for about a year now and I am currently Silver Elite. I feel like my aim is okay but I lack skill to be able to do the jumping and sliding in this game as it is quite unique compared to a lot of other first person shooters I have played.
If anyone can offer any tips, I will gladly accept them!
I've started to use ESDF rather than WASD because it gives me a few more binds I can use on the left side of my movement keys which is helpful. It's a bit odd to play with but I'm slowly getting used to it.

here are some tips....don't use laser, specially in water, it reveals your location to the enemy. listen to your surroundings.
I always spot campers by hearing them change their weapons, I can hear them walk or opening and closing doors. when I am snipping in the castle, I can here them coming towards my direction, you can hear them walking or running!! a lot of the times I can hear them start gun fights somewhere near the castle. As soon as I hear that, I stand ready. whenever you hear a gunfight near your location, look at the screen to see who got killed, so you know if it was a team member or the other team that killed, If your team member got killed, stand ready cause they are most proably coming your way. the sliding and jumping takes practise , give it some time.

So:
1. Don't use laser
2. Listen
3. Keep an eye on the minimap
4. Practise jumping and sliding
Thanks for the tips.
I have been using the laser but I have been toggling it while I go into the water and then toggling it again when I come out.
When you use the laser out of water, can people still see the line (like you can in the water) or can they only see the dot?

I disagree with the laser thing.
The laser increases your accuracy, not by much but enough to make a difference.

Yeah, I've been using the laser and the accuracy difference is definitely noticeable.
It took me a while to figure out I had to disable the laser in the water though, haha.

if you use laser it's encouraged to "hide" it on land, when going around corners, so the opponent cant see it on walls etc. Whenever I use laser I switch to knife in water and back to gun if I have to shoot somebody.
I am too one of the few that play with ESDF

Ahh, I see. But I've only been playing TDM and I guess hiding the laser isn't as important in TDM because it's very fast-paced and it doesn't really matter if you die since you respawn almost instantly. But I'll remember that for more competitive-type modes.
I didn't think of pulling my knife out in the water - I'll have to try that. c:
When did you start playing with ESDF and have you found it has benefited you much? I am debating whether or not to switch to ESDF in all my games because I like the option of having the extra keys so I can bind them to things.
In Urban Terror, I have most of those extra keys binded to radio commands.
