1 more thing: the site works very very slow... and after pressing "server" in the upper menu, or "submit" (when wiritng a reply in a topic, or creating a new one) it loads (no offence) even longer than facebook...
Can you do something about it?

This site is using Gzip compression, meaning it will "download" the site/page before showing it to the viewer, speeding up the loading a bit as it doesn't have to load every single element of the page while you are looking at it. This way you can view the page as a whole and not bits and pieces popping up here and there.

The script on the server page comes from Zap's server so the page loads that script first before showing the page. If the connection from this site's web server to Zap's is slow or somehow not working correctly the server page will take longer to load.

Unfortunately I have no control over the type of web server Jonny uses, I don't even know the bandwidth of it. Facebook also uses several servers to connect to, so if the connection to one of the servers dies it reroutes to the next one available, meaning the site will always load.

The problem with only having one server available is that the information / data packets sent will always have to go to that particular server. So if there are several people on the site, every single person's action on our site goes through the web server this site is on. Works well most of the time, but as the information sent cannot go to space B (secondary server) if the connection to space A (primary server) dies the site will also take longer to load.

If the explanation above was gibberish you can basically think of this as traffic lights.

This is extremely simplified but this is how it works when the lights are green:

This is sort of what happens when the information hits a red light the information doesn't go through until the server is ready to receive the information (aka given a green light).

Edit: I will try to minimize the size of the files with the next update later next week.
Edit 2: The result of having Gzip compression enabled: checkgzipcompression.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.drunknoobs.com

@Empty
If you just want a quick overview of the online players you can also access the status directly, it's just plain html without any graphics/scripts so it loads very fast:
31.214.242.178/publicstatus

That's also ad free ;)

Could have been the ad links on the server page that fucked up the loading speed of that particular page? It seems to load relatively fast now as they have been removed.

probably. Now it loads much much much faster.

Indeed :)
it went from 10+ seconds to around 1 second over here

could you add our TS3 server adress somewhere in the site? "Servers" subpage for example.

There is currently a TS3 forum topic (sticky) in the General Discussion forum :)

I know I have promised you a responsive layout for this site. I am letting you know that it is under construction and will be released as soon as possible. I basically have to rebuild the desktop layout cos I made it before the mobile layout.

Possible ETA on responsiveness: Monday 11th May
