To put it simply, I enjoy all types of music
I do, however, tend to have some requirements xD but if I'd have to choose a term to describe things, it would be versatility; I absolutely LOVE it when a song plays out in a progressive manner. When it gradually evolves and turns into something incredible. I love sound variety, and, even more importantly, the emotional side of things.
Anyways, here's (probably) my favorite choices from some of the genres I love the most:
In terms of Orchestral music, I'd say Thomas Bergersen's "Final Frontier" is my current favorite track
As far as your usual alternative/rock'ish bands go, I really enjoy Coldplay. Especially their earlier work like "Clocks"
I'm also a huge fan of Anime (good Anime), and an absolutely haunting track that has always stuck with me (despite how uncanny and totally left-field it is) is one from the official soundtrack of Neon Genesis Evangelion called "Do You Love Me?"
